Colour, movement and stillness

I find joy in colour, movement and stillness, which energise my paintings.

My paintings take me where they will. Each one is an exciting adventure.

The influences on my styles of painting are sometimes obvious but not always, even to me.

​

I name a painting  usually when it is moving towards completion. I have fun with the names. If a painting appeals to you and the name I have given does not fit with your idea, give it a name that feels right for you.

If I have paint left over on my palette I use it on a fresh canvas or paper in a very free and expressive way, often producing a more pleasing and dynamic painting than when I am working more formally.
